Onyx Restaurant

Onyx was created as a semi contemporary double volume dining space combining restaurant/ cafe, bar and first floor conference/ sports bar facility on a confined site. Onyx has exceeded all owner and customer expectations and has set a new dining standard in the Waikato.

Caroline Eve

Caroline Eve operates 17 women’s fashion outlets in the North Island. The brief was to provide a distribution centre (warehouse) where stock control and efficient distribution of product to the retail outlets could take place. The building appears on site to be partly buried with only the upper floor/part roof visible, this minimised the effect of the building mass on the environment. Gravel excavated on site was used for exposed aggregate concrete tilt panels.

The brief called for a modern professional building that would maximise exposure, accommodate guests and customers along with offices, a dealer lounge, damaged vehicle storage, car display areas, grooming facilities and parking for the public. A 50m clear span, 6m high portal knee parking building was required. The site has become the "best performer" of all branches nation-wide.
