The 2x key reasons for the weathertightness to fail on this roof was the low pitches tray roof, and the number of roof penetrations from operational and redundant services. This required an entire re-clad and re-pitched roof to remove the risk of moisture penetration.

Design Features
The main design feature that we created on this project, was a higher pitch to the roofs. We also installed galvanised steel platforms for all existing and future services to be installed on. This created a New Zealand Building Code Compliant building that will last another 50 years.
